Fashion designing is important in life whether or not it is just designing the clothes or starting a business for it. Without fashion designers people would not have any of the fashionable clothes we all wear today. Fashion designers design clothing for a living, to be a fashion designer they need to be extremely dedicated. Patience, being meticulous and diligence is the key to being a fashion designer. Fashion designing can be stressful, but if they take their time it will make things easier. Having an imagination is important. Originality is a popular setting in the fashion world.
 Most people find that the best thing for a design career is to get a fine arts degree in fashion at a prestigious school after completing four years of High school. Doing well and having a good name from high school helps for becoming a fashion designer and getting into a fashion program for college. There are several schools that have fashion programs for designers to become a fashion designer, for example Bay State College. A fashion designer can make a portfolio of their best designs to colleges that involve with having fashion design programs. Also taking art classes to help improve the designers drawing/art skills will help them get into a fashion design school. Sewing skills are also beneficial. Learning how to use a sewing machine would be a knowledgeable thing to do. Most fashion programs are three to four years long. Sometimes fashion designers need a two year internship and a four year degree. If they are looking for a job just in the fashion industry they do not need four years of school.
