. How would you describe yourself as a person?
I would describe myself as a very ambitious, hardworking, and sincere young woman. I am enthusiastic about taking up new challenges in life. I have the ability to adapt and work well with all ages. I am also reliable and responsible. I am bilingual in Arabic and English. My friends would describe me as friendly and joyful.

2. What are your plans after graduation?
I look forward with great anticipation in furthering my academic career at the University of Michigan. During the summer I will be participating in the Bridge Program for incoming freshman. I hope to find a job in Ann Arbor during the summer to help pay my college expenses. The academic interest that I will pursue in college is in the field of Science. I plan on majoring in Pre-Health and Medicine.

3. Have you participated in any activities or gained experience in the field to pursue?
Some extra curricular activities that I participated in the past four years at Berkley High are: Student Leadership as a Senior Class representative, National Honors Society, Peer Mentors, Diversity, DECA, Peer Mediation, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Bell Tones, and FIRST. I was also a School Board Representative for the High school.
The most remarkable experience I’ve been part of would have to be a program called the National Youth Leadership Forum: Defense Intelligence and Diplomacy. The Forum is about pursuing a career in the field of government service. I interacted with highly regarded senior civilian policy makers and military officers. During the strategy exercise I met other students from around the nation. Part of my role as a member of NYLF was acting as a Congress member for a crisis decision regarding Africa.
