The legalization of marijuana has been a very controversial topic for the United States and the whole world. There are many positive and negative aspects for this debate. According to statistics, 90% Americans was trying the marijuana before. There are three kinds of reasons which that people argue about; there are human heath, profit and cost, and the social impact.
When people talk about marijuana, the first point was emerging your brain will be human’s heath. Long time ago, a Chinese guy found this plant could be used for pain control, but today, people argue that marijuana is more like drug or medicine. People who support marijuana is legal focus on marijuana’s medical use. There are many people are very sick in the world. Pain racked their entire bodies. Marijuana makes them feeling better than before. Many patients say marijuana makes them feel relaxed. Another reason the supporters compare smoking tobacco and smoking marijuana which is more harmful for human. They sat many research shows marijuana is less harmful than tobacco. Tobacco will be harming your body, especially the lungs, but marijuana will not. People who use the marijuana in a limited way will have no harm to their bodies. As a result, supporters say if some drugs must be illegal, tobacco should go first. Form another point of view the protestors also have their opinions. First, protestors are use the most is addiction. Although marijuana is not very harmful for people’s bodies, but is much harmful for people’s mind. Many reports tell us marijuana makes you addicted. It is also bad for people’s brain. Marijuana makes them hard to focus on one thing or always feel tried. Second, many people was killed by smoking marijuana. The most common disaster that was killing many people who use marijuana is car accident.
