Our nation is built on the idea of freedom but even today woman are restrained from practicing their freedom in certain ways. This restraint women have is called abortion. The people in favor of abortions believe it is a right for women to have one if they so please and that women have full control over any decision made concerning their bodies. From the pro-choice view, life begins at birth. Pro-choice people do not encourage abortion but they acknowledge the right of the women to do such a thing. Before 1973 abortion was illegal in this country forcing millions of women to obtain illegal abortions. Unlike the pro-choice view on abortion, pro-life people feel that human life begins at conception and that an abortion would be killing a life, intentionally. Pro-life people are the ones truly commiting a crime in lobbying for abortion to be illegal. This is so because it is the constitutional right of women to do what they want with their bodies.
