1. “There are years that ask questions and there are years that answer”
This quotes means to me that we all go through our trials and tribulations. Some years it seems harder than others. But we all make it through, just like that quote says some years ask, other answer. One year you may go through a heart ache from a past relationship and the next year you may find your self in the most magnificent relationship. Saying this, your answer and remedy for your heart ache was to find something better the next go- round. I like this quote because I could relate a great deal. I can foresee my self referring to this throughout my life.

2. “Janie saw her life like a great tree in leaf with the things suffered, things enjoyed things done and undone”
This quote means to me that when we reflect on our lives, the things we have been through, the things enjoyed and the things we did and wish we didn’t do we stayed strong. For example we may have went through a divorce, our family member moving to college and the death in the family, but We survived and are still standing tall, like a great tree. Like Janie we can all relate. Janie saw her life this way because of her two unsuccessful marriages and the town people judging her he stood tall. We can learn a lot from Janie, but living with our heart and not what everybody wants you to be. I found this very intriguing. I’m sure all tens and adults would too.

This quote means a lot to me because I have a very caring grandmother just a Janie did. I remember as a young child when I was hurt she would be hurt also. This is not only with the character Janie but with a lot of families, where the grandmothers hold everything down. The does not have a literal meaning but a figurative meaning. It means every time that Janie cried it hurt her heart or soul because...
