Alexander Graham Bell was born on the 3rd of March in 1874. He died on the 2nd of August in 1922 at the age of 75. He was born in Scotland and that is where he lived a majority of his life. The schools that he attended were, the University College of London, University of Toronto and the University of Edinburgh.
Alexander Graham Bell is known for the invention of the telephone. This was a monumental invention that has changed the way that people live their life. This is considered an important discovery because without it we would not have an effective type of communication. It took Bell many years to master his design. He went through many trials and failed much of the time. It wasn’t until 1874 that he made the telegraph, which really started to make Bell famous. With this invention, it was only a matter of time before the telephone was made. In 1875 the telephone was made which has revolutionized the world. Society has made many contributions to his work. Telephones are now much smaller and can do many more features than phones could do when they were first invented. There are now cell phones to. This doesn’t really use the same concept as the original phone but it is still a huge upgrade from the original phone. In the future I can see the phone being able to transport a live video feed so that people can see whom they are talking to. Maybe even one-day telephones will be able to transport even more than just images.
Alexander Graham Bell was one of the greatest scientists of all time. His invention changed the world and will continue to change the world.
