The main concept of this article is British media organizations which have tried something new of using pod casts for broadcasting. This links in with our unit because we are talking about business organizations and their structures. This article elaborates on the type of the things business organizations do to keep their business going strong, such as jumping on the bandwagon. The major parties in this article are British media organizations and American print organizations, such as, Washington Post, New York Times, etc. The author appears to be optimistic about the versatility and willingness of these organizations and wishes that the American organizations would jump on the bandwagon. He seems to have a liberal view of the situation. I think that it is cool that these media organizations are willing to try something new and move along with the future. It is a very risky step for them to take.

It seems nearly every mainstream media (or, for the kids, MSM) organization has jumped into the podcasting pool. At first, I assumed broadcasters would have an overwhelming advantage in this new medium. But a couple years into the podcasting era, I've noticed an interesting trend: Print companies seem more willing to take chances and produce original programming for the Internet than broadcasters do.
