We had finally figured out what the doctors met by a puzzle falling apart we could finally see that she was only a shell of her former self. It was about March of 2014 when she could no longer make in to the restroom and time so we have to start her on diaper not understanding the whole thing she would take her soiled diaper off and hide it any and everywhere we would found soiled diaper and clothes everywhere around the house; in her bed, under the bathroom sink, in the clean clothes, even in the kitchen. When Evyn first saw Eleni, with her red lipstick, black pants, and high heels, she thought Eleni looked nothing like a college professor and a mother. Evyn made the assumption that she went partying every night. That is an example of her being judgemental. After her father, Birdie, reminded Evyn that her new combination lock was 5, 10, 15; she forgot, making her forgetful. An example of Evyn being unintelligent was when her so-called friends, Andrea’s group, calls her Evelyn and doesn’t talk to her unless it’s to ask about updates with Ajax, she doesn’t realize that they’re just using her.
She said “There were things Amanda wasn’t telling her.” Amanda didn’t share a lot of her secrets with the people in the group which just shows that the group didn’t really know her at all. Kate and Joe were supposed to be Amanda’s closest friends in the group. Kate knew Amanda was acting strange and there were things she wasn’t telling her. Kate just assumed that it had to do with Amanda’s ex-boyfriend, Steve and though nothing of it. She never asked her what was wrong.
After the award show they went home, when they got home they got ready for bed they locked all the doors but they didn’t set the alarm because if one of the kids got up and moved around in the night the alarm would go off so they didn’t bother to turn it on that night. So they went to bed thinking everything would be fine. As the then-14-year-old lay in bed alongside her baby sister (Mary Katherine who was 9 years old), in the night (or early in the morning) Brian David Mitchell broke into the home and came to the bedroom (he came into a window that Elizabeth left open earlier in the day) and said to Elizabeth "Don't make a sound. Get out of bed and come with me, or I will kill you and your family" (Elizabeth was Brains hostage) Elizabeth was just wearing her red PJs and he made her put on her shoes .While this was going on Elizabeth didn’t know that her little sister was awake but no one knew she was awake so she watched her sister get abducted. Mary (who had a baby blanket wrapped around her head and neck) ran to her parent’s room but almost ran into Mitchell and Elizabeth as they seemed to be looking into her brothers' bedroom Mary thought to herself “be quiet, because if he hears you, he might take you too, and you're the only person who has seen this," so she careful tip toed back to her room and climbed into her bed and hide for almost two hours to

Many women probably did not even know how to write because their were neglected from their studies or were probably always to busy doing what ever their husbands wanted them to do. Rich's life was different she knew something had to change and that is the main reason why she decided to write about it. I would consider her as a model to all the other women at the time, her essay should have been a way to encourage other women to get off their buts, stop washing dishes, stop having kids, get their life together and start studying! The sad part of this is that till this day not many women are being recognized for their hard studies, and it has been almost thirty four years since this has come out to the public. This failure to consider what women need from their college experience in order to succeed is, as Rich says, part of the old belief that women's primary goal is or should be marriage--and that "[t]oo much intelligence or intensity may make [them] unmarriageable" (215).
“She said that my life is being subsumed by yours and that it’s as though I’ve joined some sort of eco-cult and you are the cult leader” (Beaven-75). When Colin contacted his family, he received a similar reaction. His plan was “instead of two three-day trips at Thanksgiving and Christmas” they would “take one weeklong trip for one holiday and stay home and relax for the other” (Beaven-82). His mother did not understand because “the train will run whether you are on it or not” (Beaven-82) and that his sister would be devastated that they would be missing his baby shower. I can only imagine what my family would do if I said something to them like Colin and Michelle did to theirs.
Differences in Betty Rollin’s life after having cancer Metamorphosis The life of Betty Rollin was strikingly different after having cancer. First of all, in the past Betty Rollin used to be afraid of what everyone had to say (would say) about her. She was concerned of people thinking she wasn’t attractive or smart enough, while after having cancer she didn’t did not care anymore about other people’s opinion. Betty she turned into a carefree and high self steam person. When it comes to her career she always pleased everyone and she couldn’t think about putting her job a side for anything (else?)
