Conclusions
My evaluation of owning a home and renting an apartment led me to the following conclusions:
• In terms of cost, I learned that renting an apartment meets my criterion.
• In terms of whether to live alone or with a roommate, I have learned that both owning a home and renting an apartment meet my criterion.
• In terms of freedom, I have learned that both owning a home and renting an apartment meet my criterion for freedom.
Recommendation
I recommend that I would rent an apartment as a residence of choice. Renting an apartment meets two of the three criteria. Even though owning a home also meets two of the three criteria, renting an apartment costs less per month, making my decision a more suitable choice.
