Diagnosis
Humans in one point of their life span encounter an anxiety or type of mood disorder due to changes in their lifestyle; environment or situations that are beyond their control this can result in short to long-term effect. A good example is Marie Bramweiler which is suffering of both a mood disorder and anxiety disorder. Marie is in a turning point of life were she constantly panics for the present and future outcomes of life. As her scenario is presented in our office, we have made diagnosis and explanation for our treatment.
Marie is diagnosis with Generalized Anxiety with Major Depression. Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and major depressive disorder demonstrated a strong relationship to each other at all aspects. In referring to those items in the scenario, clearly justify the diagnosis I have made with the criteria of major depressive episode. She has been suffering through this for about nine months. Generalized anxiety disorder is a behavior marked by a pattern of frequent persist worry and anxiety many different activities and events. She is constantly worries about her work, fears she’ll get terminated for current workplace that led’s to panic attacks and marriage. Major depressive disorder is when five or more symptoms of depression are present. These symptoms include feeling sad, hopeless, worthless, or pessimistic, such as sleeping patterns. Major depression increases a person risk of suicide but not present in this case. Ms. Bramweiler has lost pleasure for dancing which she enjoy doing with her husband. She has pushed her husband away. Her lost of interest in both her personal and professional is not only affected her but ones who surround her. Her division recently received unfavorable productivity rating that was beyond her control. On the other hand, her rating was favorable but puts the blame of division productivity upon her.
