Bill Gates is considered to be one of the greatest businessmen of all time. He has led himself through his software company to become one of the richest men on the planet. Bill Gates is an entrepreneur, software executive and chairman of Microsoft that is said to be a monopoly.
William was born on October 28, 1995 in Seattle, to William and Mary Gates. He grew up with an older and younger sister, and their family was rich. He attended public elementary school and the private Lakeside School. When he was 13, he fell in love with software and started to work on computers at Lakewood. As a kid, Gates was at the top of everything in school, known as the smartest kid in school. He surpassed all of his peer's abilities in nearly all subjects, especially math and science. Also little Will was apart of the Boy Scouts of America, which he achieved Life Scout, that’s the second highest rank. On his SAT, Bill earned a 1590, which is all right. He was accepted to Harvard in 1973, where he was going to receive a pre law degree. He did not receive anything as he left Harvard to start Microsoft.
Bill’s first time experiencing a computer was in the spring of 1968, when Lakeside brought in computers made by General Electric into the school. These computers immediately fascinated Bill and his friend Paul Allen as they were always in the computer room. They were so abscessed that they would stay in the computer room all day and night, writing programs, reading computer literature and anything else about computing. Gates loved computers so much that he started skipping classes to work on the computers and soon enough he wasn’t doing his work.
Bill’s first time doing dirty work on computers was when the Computer Center Corporation opened for business in Seattle. Them and Lakewood settled a deal and the school was able to provide more computer time to the students. Bill and his friends started hacking into the computers and caused problems.
