n Of Mice and Men , Curleys Wife is presented in many various ways. At first she comes across as a seductive trouble maker , but throughout the novel, Curley's wife is presented in many other ways , such as on pages 109- 115 , where she is shown for what she actually is.
      Curley's wife is presented as a lonely woman on page 110 , “Think I don't like to talk to somebody ever' once in a while ?” , this shows that Curley's wife does not normally talk to anyone but Curley and she does not like that , it shows that she keeps herself to herself to satisfy Curley, but really she is lonely and wants to make conversation with other people, but she is fearful because she does not know what Curley will do to her .
      The wife of Curley is also presented as a made up woman, “ Her face was heavily made up, Her lips were slightly parted.” This shows us that Curley's wife wants to attract other men as she is not happy with Curley, this also shows us that she is very picky and does not settle for anyone.
      Steinbeck also presents Curley's wife as slightly violent as she threatened Crooks with lynching , this shows that she is feisty and not to be messed with by anyone as she has the power to do things to over people.
      Curley's wife is also presented as being scared of Curley as she comes in breathing heavily. This shows that she had been running trying to find Curley as she is not normally aloud to go out and socialize , but this also shows that she is rebellious and does not take no for an answer .
