Throughout history several types of energy have been produced and used by people.
They should produce energy in order to continue their existence because energy provides
advantages to all the areas of life such as illumination, transportation, heating and using
machines which makes easier lives. Energy is the essential source of humanity which is
produced by various ways. Nowadays, many discussions are held by the professionals
about the advantages and properties of these ways. Nuclear energy is a kind of produced
energy and it is the best method and also it is produced from minerals such as uranium and
thorium by using nuclear fissions to release energy. These method of energy becomes
important position compare to other methods because of it quantities. Although some people
assert that nuclear energy is hazardous and useless, it has environmental economical and
safety advantages.
The first significant advantage of nuclear energy is environmental protection concerning
the global warming and waste disposal. The absence of gas emission and greenhouse effect
which trigger the global warming is the main benefit of nuclear energy. Many hazardous
gases occur in the atmosphere and they affects the environment in a bad way directly or
relatively. As Erik Leipoldt asserted, carbondioxide gases which are released by nuclear
power plants includes low amounts of harmful gases compared to other energy sources (2007,
“Advantage of Nuclear Energy” section, para. 2). If energy contains no dangerous gases, there
will be no more environmental pollution. Greenhouse gases cause the plants to decay and
present to their existence. Moreover, Fergus mentioned that in this process a lot of electricity
is produced and greenhouse gases are emitted (2007, para. 4). This means, there is no
greenhouse gas in nuclear...
