Baggage

Everyone has things that they carry around with them, whether it is an object, a certain attitude, or issues. I carry around a little bit of each. My cell phone is so important to me. I love being able to stay connected with my family and friends. I have found peace at knowing that they are just a call away. My cell phone is a way for me to feel at home. I call my grandma, mom, and best friend. They keep me sane and if I didn’t have that I would have gone back home a long time ago.
My confidence is always with me. It has been something that I have struggled with for a long time. Many things have happened in my life that has completed brought my self esteem so far down. I have felt like nothing many of days especially coming to college being away from home. This year I have realized my worth. I know now somewhat of whom I am. It is still not where it should be but its way up from where it came from.
Spirituality is something that never leaves me. It is the most important in my life. Since I have been in college I see that my help comes from God. I know that when things seem impossible for me that he can handle it. I am so grateful to know that I can pray and ask him for whatever I need. I know that I can talk to him whenever my friends are not there. Its so amazing to me that He cares about every little detail about me. He cares about me like no one else can.
Graduation was such a huge moment in my life. I felt so blessed to graduate with honors. I never thought that I would be number fifteen out of four hundred and something people. So when it was time to get graduation rings I wanted the best one. I wanted the one with all the diamonds and that is which one I got. I will never take it off and I have not taken it off since I got it in April. I also have a necklace with my name on it that my mom game me. I love it and it has so much sentimental value to me. I will forever keep it around my neck.
