Global warming is becoming a real problem across the world. There are many causes for this problem. From depletion of rain forests to over burning of fossil fuels. Many of these things could have been prevented from the beginning and still can be today. Now let us see what the causes are in detail and how they can be prevented.
Global warming by definition is the steady increase of temperature due to increasing concentrations of co2 and other gases. Many of these gases are caused by humans burning large amounts of wood and carbon based materials that release gases into the atmosphere. The start of the problem was the industrial revolution when we needed to make things to survive and became more technologically advanced humans started to burn coal and wood to power their machines for the industries. Up until a couple of decades ago this was a regular practice across the industrialized world. At that time scientists realized that the build up of the gases was the cause of the constant rise in temperature. The deforestation of the world’s forests is another reason for the problem. The trees filter out and use some of the gases that are being produced then produce usable gases for humans and living things to use.
There is also the problem o man made chemicals that are being used that contribute to the depletion of the ozone and global warming. Chlorofluorocarbons being on of the main ones. It was used in spray paint cans and other products. This chemical eats away at the ozone layer. When the ozone layer has pieces of it taken away the wholes that are left let infrared light through. Then the light causes the atmosphere to warm up. The United States and other well developed countries have outlawed the use and sale of such chemicals to help aid in the prevention of the ozone depletion.
The increased radiation that is coming in through the atmosphere is causing health problems for humans and animals alike. It is causing cancer, cataracts, and...
