Human Rights Essay

Human rights are commonly defined as the rights that all people must have because they are human; besides, all human beings are born free and equal in their dignity and rights. Along with history, birthrights have been known by everyone, but rarely have been applied fairly. Rights such as freedom, fair-treatment, housing, health care and education are always in people's need; however, any deficiency in those rights leads to various social problems in such a society. Thereby, in the terms of avoiding the social problems, the most common categorization of human rights is to part them into civil and political rights on one side, and economic, social, and cultural rights on the other side.
First of all, civil and political rights form the basic rights for all human beings. On one side, Civil rights defined as the rights of citizenship in any country, and the rights of having an equal access to the public service of a country, regardless of race, color, sex, or religion. On another side, the political rights known as the participating in the governmental issues, and having the right to vote in the norms of democracy. Further, freedom is a term that requires both civil and political rights combined together. Moreover, freedom is an aspect that includes freedom of belief, freedom of expression, and freedom of association. By and large, to born with freedom is to be a human; otherwise, there is a defection in the terms of humanity.
Secondly, economic, social, and cultural rights tend to be secondary rights, which come after civil and political ones. Rights such as housing, access to health care, and access to education are importantly needed to everyone. Economic rights shall be given evenly to all of individuals of a country; for instance, individuals must have the rights not only to work without nepotism, but also to begin their own business without favoritism.
