Fuel, it is one of the most precious natural resource our world has. The world has become dependent on it and with out this natural resource our world probably would not survive. There is problem, however. We are consuming too much and too fast. The consumption is too much for the earth to keep up. There has already been talk about by the end of the century; the world will be almost out. We must take a plan of action to prevent this. I propose that laws be enforced to expand and grow on other forms of power production such as solar and ethanol.
Not only will solar and ethanol reduce the consumption of fuel, it will reduce some of the causes of global warming. Global warming is caused be green house gases trapping heat in the world’s atmosphere, which inevitably heats the world up (Environmental Literacy council). Fuel plays a big part in this picture because it produces a great amount of these gases that causes global warming. Now some might say that global warming is caused by natural phenomena’s such as solar variation and volcano’s, but most scientists believe that industrialization is a big factor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming). The more technologic our world gets, the more fuel we are forced to thrive on; which in doubt, causes more extremities in global warming.
Solar fuel is by far the most cleanest source of energy. It is never ending. Solar power is the conversion of solar energy to electricity (Wikipedia). There is even talk about solar powered vehicles for transportation. Solar energy provides the world ,as of right now, less the one percent of its electrical energy. Imagine if we multiplies that by fifty or even twenty. It would save the world billions of dollars in fuel expense. The problem however, is that there is not enough “plan of action” involved in the production. You wont go to an everyday Wall Mart and find a solar powered electrical system for your house. Even though they exist, they are...
