Natuarl Observation

To observe children for 30 minutes I made a visit to Westmorland Mall. Here I saw 3 children around age 6 that were playing. There was one boy who was sitting in a chair and one girl who was sitting in a chair, the third child was playing with something on the floor. All three children were with mom and they all had a shopping bag. The two girls had purses. A little boy came and also played in the massage chair.
All of these children were very playful, they seemed excited and curious. One little girl, about age 4, was wearing a pink cheerleaders type outfit. She was skipping about then she ran to her daddy, he scooped her up and he began to swing her back and forth. When he put her down she continues skipping. Another example of these children being very playful was when a little baby no older than 1 year old was asked by mom to give her a high five. The baby, with its tiny fist tried hitting moms hand playfully. Many of these were skipping and dancing.
Younger children that were confined to strollers were still very exciting to watch because even though they could not be free to skip, jump, and hop you could see it in their faces ho excited and curious they were. One mom was walking quickly, she had her little girl in a stroller so the one little girl in it had her eyes wide open and was bopping her head from side to side quickly so she could get a chance to see everything. The little children in the strollers seem as if they were riding in a fast roller coaster.
These children like to touch everything in stores. They also like to be very helpful. First, I spotted a little girl in old navy attempting to try something on, I thought it was a sweater she was trying very hard but remained patient. She eventually started dancing and swinging the sweater around. Second there was a little girl that was very excited when she went into the Disney store with her mom and brother.
