Sweating. My palms are sweating. The rifle is slipping through my hands. I’m in a dark room; dishevelled, the wallpaper hanging off the damp grey walls. The room’s air is moist and uncomfortable. The target is passing the window, unaware of my presence. I start to assemble the rifle; it’s an ACV Dragunov. I begin to slowly screw on the silencer, my palms still profusely sweating in fear that I will be discovered. I go on to attach the scope. I drop the scope. My brow is soaked in salty sweat. I wipe my brow. I eventually attach the scope to the top of the rifle. I load the clip. The sniper rifle is now fully assembled. I slowly and carefully open the window only a fraction so that the target doesn’t see me. I press the butt of the rifle to my shoulder. I slide my hand up the barrel, caressing its smooth texture. I push my eye to the scope; I move the sights over to the targets head waiting for the right moment. My hand starts to shake; my eye starts to sting as if just looking through the sights burns my eye. I eventually position my finger just in front of the very delicate trigger. Then greed flows through my veins. I have been just informed that the target is carrying a major collection of ready cut diamonds. There is a bonus of $50,000 if they are returned safely and unharmed back to the client
Vinnie Sinistra, a rich Mexican that has made major money on importing and exporting diamond from other countries. He has recently moved to the life of suburbia in the rich county of California. This has just made more enemies than he originally had living in Mexico. Vinnie seriously dislikes Suburbia and its monotonous lifestyle. He has become a severe manic-depressive and is taking out his boredom on the local neighbours, especially on the Delgado’s. Delgado is seriously burrowed in crime and corruption and shouldn’t be messed with. The target is Pedro Delgado, the main man. Pedro isn’t as stupid as Vinnie thinks. My confidence is starting to come...
