It all started with a pen and a notebook, my first time I wrote my name on the paper we had a connection. I would be destined to write great things about anything I had to, this is my writing history.
Writing for me has always come easily. Even in fifth grade my teacher predicted great things ahead for me in writing. My first essay I ever wrote I got an A in, even though the essay form was written wrong my teacher said the essay had good mix of words experiences and comparison. I believe the essay was about sports and why kids need them. Being an athlete myself it wasn’t that hard to make a comparison from the essay to my real life. Therefore I thrived in class, even when I couldn’t relate to the subject I would use creativity to come up with a story to write about. Skills like this are not worked for they are naturally hatched into something more.
A lot of people have trouble writing, not me I have trouble in math. So whenever I have a math assignment it always is harder for me to do, but when it is writing I finish it easily. Is it the fact that I learned how to read and write in the first grade that helps? No it is the fact that I can adapt to any situation when I write and that gives me the edge to go further when I am writing or reading. The first book I read was the bible and even then I used to analyze situations in Sunday school and orally present my opinions to the class. From there on that prepared me orally and enhanced my writing edge and creativity. Now I have confidence in my writing and I believe I present good material whenever an essay is due.
Going back in time in my mind I can see the times my life was affected by reading and writing in a good way. Glad to say the good outweighs the bad or pros outweigh the cons when it comes to writing.
