Macbeth Poem
A king’s near future three scheming witches predict
As Macbeth the main protagonist gets quite into a conflict
A battle Macbeth won was a battle he fought
As king Duncan treats himself to Inverness in a nice thought
Lady Macbeth full of ambition and hate
Convinces Macbeth’s life as a thane to not appreciate
Innocent Duncan; asleep knew not of the knife
That controlled Macbeth to contemplate between his death and life
“Drug his guards and kill the king”
Thoughts Lady Macbeth proposed her husband to be Queen
Hiding the dirty deed was not so easy
As Macduff discovers the kings death and becomes uneasy
Macbeth is now king, who holds a feast in celebration
As he chooses friend Banquo, his next victim in examination
Two murderers hired and the deed is done
Into Banquo’s ghost at his feast Macbeth will soon run
Macduff is a now show as the king starts to loose it
Hecate gets angry as his fate she did not choose it
Again the witches meet with a vision and three apparitions
To them Macbeth listens instead of his intuition
Macduff flees the country; Macbeth goes for the kill
To murder servants and family against their innocent will
To call upon Edward and prove himself to Malcolm Macduff goes
Recruiting 10,000 men of an army against Macbeth he’ll show
Lady Macbeth sleepwalks tortured by conscience and guilt
“She needs a priest more than myself” the Doctor’s theory is built
Nearby thanes contemplate and ready as Birnam Wood advances
Lady Macbeth commits suicide; unshaken Macbeth still takes chances
Trumpets mark the final battle; Macbeth sees he was terribly mistaken
Upon a pole his head is stuck and to the rightful king Malcolm it is taken
