Ketamine
Ketamine is an odorless, tasteless drug that is found in liquid, pill, and powder form. Ketamine was first developed to be used for soldiers who were
wounded in the Vietnam War. It was amde by Parke Davis in 1962. Today, it is known to be a part of Pfizer. Ketamine is classified to be a dissociative drug. A
dissociative drug is a drug which reduces or blocks signals to the conscious mind of other parts of the brain. Ketamine is known to be a prescription drug. Since ketamine
has some negative side effects, it is rarely prescribed to patients. Ketamine is only legal in the U.S for veterinary purposes. Common ways to get ketamine is usually
either stolen from legit places or smuggled from Mexico, where it is legal.
Ketamine is usually used as a liquid form. If it is prescribed, it usually comes in a 50ml bottle. The dosage taken is approx. 5 - 10ml. Most users use
ketamine with alcohol. Some users tend to change ketamine into a powder form by putting the liquid onto a hot plate, placing it in a microwave, etc, warm it to a certain
temperature where the liquid will evaporate, leaving the powder. Most users either sniff the ketamine or place it with marijuana and smoke it.
Some of the commercial names for Ketamine are Ketaset, Ketanest, and Ketalar. Some of the street names for ketamine are K, special K, ket, kit kat,
vitamin K, purple, special la coke, cat valium, super acid, super C, lady K, super K, ketaject, and cat tranquilizers.
Ketamine has been highly invovled in some sexual assault cases because of its sedative and dissociative properties. In this way, a slightly large dosage of
ketamine is usually mixed into people's drinks, which makes them unconscious for a certain number of hours (which corresponds to the dosage.) If someone is convicted
