I met Christine when she was a freshman. Due to a scheduling conflict, she found herself in my Computer Maintenance II (2nd year) class. She demonstrated a high level of competency and easily held her own. However, when a Spanish class opened up, she switched classes. I was delighted to have her join my Computer Maintenance II class the following year. As a junior and senior, she took and is currently completing my CISCO Networking class which is a two-year program in which students earn both high school credit and have the possibility of earning their ……from CISCO Systems. The curriculum is demanding, and I can assure that Christine will succeed in both. This is an accomplishment than only ….% of my students manage to complete.

In addition to the CISCO curriculum, our class is responsible for setting up and maintaining the computer system at the high School. Christine has become one of our best technicians. I know that I can send her to solve a problem, be it wiring or programming, and she will solve it. When faced with difficulty or frustration, she can figure out how to resolve the issue. She also knows when and how to ask for help.
