Gay Marriages
In our society today gay marriages have been one issue, why are gay marriages such a big issue in our society? Many critics feel that homosexuality is immoral and that it’s allowing for same sex marriage to amount society to imply forgiveness to immoral lifestyle. It’s also a bad influence to critics, laws, children, and to their religions. I don’t believe it’s a big issue just because people shouldn’t be treated based on what they choose; it’s based on their love for one another. Gay Marriages don’t bother me that much because my cousin is a lesbian and she’s going to be getting married next year. Gay Marriages should be legalized.
Gay Couple and Children opposes gay marriage. Who does it affect? People feel that gay marriage affect children, and gay couples. Many feel that the purpose of marriage was between a man and a woman and to be able to make/raise children, so they were denied the right to raise children together. Critics feel that their children would end up becoming gay. Gays still could do that; they still could raise children and be responsible about the situation. According to April Martin, she thought of it differently, she doesn’t think gay marriage harms children. She doesn’t see why there seen as a threat to the values. She says that because she has a girl partner and both have a child. She feels that she could tell her kids what they should know. More than heterosexual parents could show for because heterosexual would feel ashamed to discuss the out come of homosexuals. Homosexuals feel that they do the same thing that heterosexual partner’s do, which is to impart their love, knowledge, and their heritages to their children. They also take their kids places, go shopping and spend time with them. In other states like Washington, they would take gay couple children away and put them into foster care.
