Distance learning is offering people the chance to get an education. That cannot afford the time to go to a classroom situation. There are six primary areas to remember, Academic Honesty, Setting and Achieving Goals, Managing Time Wisely, Reading Comprehension and Retention
as well as Personality and Learning Styles.


Using Axia’s Educational Resources

There are resources such as, audio appendixes, digital stories, and extensive online tutorials available on the University Library web page.
Through the Library, one has:
• The Center for Writing Excellence (CWE)
• The Center for Mathematics Excellence (CME)
• University Library
• eBooks

The (CWE) is an online writing lab to help students with written communications. The WritePoint(sm) is an automated review system, which checks for grammar and usage.
Plagiarism Checker is a system that checks a paper for originality.
Tutorials and Guides section that help with grammar and writing skills.
The (CME) is an online resource to help one in one’s mathematics and statistics studies. Which include Running Start that helps one brush up on math. Math Anxiety, which helps with coping and study, tips.
The University Library has many online resources and services. Search engines where one uses keywords to find what one’s article search. As well as Ask the Librarian.

eBooks is an extensive library of books on specific degree programs.
One can do workshops; get audio and video tutorials, and many more tools to help throughout ones time at the University.
