Submitted by ultr589 on April 27, 2009

The theory of multiple intelligences was developed in 1983 by Dr. Howard Gardner, professor of education at Harvard University. It suggests
that the traditional notion of intelligence, based on I.Q. testing, is far too limited. Instead, Dr. Gardner proposes eight different intelligences to
arange a border between men and children. He states that the school mainly focuses on logical and mathematical skills. He says that there are

smart") Musical intelligence ("music smart") Intrapersonal intelligence ("self smart") Naturalist intelligence ("nature smart"),
Interpersonal intelligence ("people smart"), Logical-mathematical intelligence ("number/reasoning smart"), Bodily-Kinesthetic intelligence

look deep into nature. Body - kinesthetic means your good at athletics, your a jock, ( person who is good in every sport.)
The main purpose of the 7 ways of teaching is to find eaisier ways to unlock methods in your life. Or if you try explaining someone who
has difficulty in a subject, you have several other options in which you can teach them. If they are good at sports, then you would have to use
bodily - kinesthetic to explain to them. If they understand...
