Dalian is a metropolitan city in the Northeast peninsula of China, a center of worldly cultural and business exchange, and one of the hottest spot for tourism. With only a few more than 100 years of history, the city of Dalian is known as the Romantic Capital in China. It is famous for its beautiful scenery, clean environment, and more importantly, the International Fashion Festival and International Beer Festival held annually in the city. The festive spirit of the city brings people all over the world together, to celebrate and enjoy the creativity and joyful moments of life.
To me, Dalian is forever alive, full of spirit, and moving forward. The entire city, advanced in technology and life style, is decorated with romantic architectures, sitting aesthetically in a garden with seas surrounding three sides. The city's neighborhoods are loving communities in which everybody would participates and always feel belonged, like a big family with everyone looking out for each other. Most importantly, the welcoming nature of the people in Dalian keeps the city deep in my heart to this day. There is no other place in the world where the people are as warm as they are in Dalian. If you get lost in the city while driving, all you have to do is roll down the window and ask a driver next to you for directions. Some drivers will not only direct you verbally, but also gladly lead you to the destination.
Dalian attracts people from all over the world with the natural beauty of the peninsula, the strategic location for foreign affairs, and the boosting economy. Having grown up in this inspiring and diverse city, I not only am thankful for its environment with a vast amount of opportunities, but moreover, am deeply appreciative of how my city shaped me as a person. In Dalian, I got the chance to sing on a worldly stage during the International Fashion Festival and perform solos on TV. This city helped me built my confidence and gained my optimistic outlook...
