The count is 3-2, bases loaded, bottom of the ninth, score tied 1-1. This is where pressure sets in for both the player at the plate and on the mound. The hot mid-day sun is beaming down on the field. It has been a very hard fought game between the two bitter rivals. One wrong move and the game could be over. The years of practice have all paid off just to get him to this point in his life not only in the baseball game, but also going to college.
Baseball is a sport full of failures. The great Ted Williams once said, “Baseball is the only field of endeavor where a man can succeed three times out of ten and be considered a good performer.” I can’t agree more with the legend. Through this breakdown you can learn numerous lessons to put toward your future. Responsibility and discipline are just a couple that are very important. Each player needs to take responsibility for the mistakes that he may make and be able to shake them off and keep his head high. One door closing can only lead you to achieve something great farther down the road. Always staying persistence is the key to learn from these failures.
All through the years, the little things become more and more essential to the process of learning. Just as in real life, changing one little thing in baseball like batting stance or arm path can result in great successes in the future. This concept can also be put into thought when dealing with accounting. If there is just one number wrong, the whole problem at hand could be wrong. Paying attention to that one little thing will give you the correct value. Noticing these tiny details lets you have more control over no matter what it is that you are doing.
