Sociologist’s main goal is to understand social situations from collect and analyze the appropriate data, which are often associated with the modern society. These data could be obtained based on individual’s personal backgrounds, which are often cultural, social, economic, and political environment. From these data, Sociologists can closely monitor the patterns of the individual’s or group’s activity in order to form a theory for such behaviors. Sociology is just an educated way for the modern society to study its own, and hope to solve the problems and make the world a perfect place.
  To study the society with a scientific method, one must acquire the knowledge through observation, experimentation, generalization, and verification. Observation could be done by witness, interview and analyze historical records as to gather as much information relating to the subject as possible, for a good idea on the subject or problem.   Than one must second analyze the information to ensure its accuracy and, perform a controlled experiment on the objective with an independent and dependent variables. Mostly, sociologist’s studies are in the behaviors of human being in the modern society. Because the subject ‘people’ are massive in term of numbers, therefore impossible to conduct a controlled experiment. So, they have been using a technique, which is to research a certain amount of people for the percentage of the closest result. If the result states that the hypothesis has been prove parallel with the experiment, than we should conduct into a scientific theory with no bias, for sharing with other sociologists or colleagues. Theory is made for the time being, due to the inevitable environment changes, theory could be broken by verification. For the future benefits on the subject, a falsified theory must be corrected.
