My strong interest in palliative care, a result of my previous patient care experiences, and Ministry Health Care’s excellent reputation have caused me to apply for the above-referenced nursing position. My excitement for this position begins with the potential to assist in transforming nursing care that can not only touch the lives of patients but their family and friends. I have great interest in working for an organization that provides outstanding care often only seen in urban areas. Providing support, education and promoting wellness are nursing tasks that I enjoy. I believe this position would allow me to flourish and strengthen my nursing career in those areas.

My qualifications are based on a variety of work and educational experiences. While completing my BSN degree at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh I had numerous clinical and classroom learning experiences based on end of life population. I completed a clinical rotation in which I followed a pediatric home health nurse. We went to numerous homes to help provide end of life care. My work experience also includes working in an assisted living facility, where I was involved in different aspects of palliative care. The enclosed resume also demonstrates that I am comfortable working with patients of varied backgrounds, ages and medical conditions.
