The principle that people endure the sins of our fathers is true. Also the principle that once those sins are forgiving your life will be changed.Fences, a book by August Wilson portrays these statements all threw the book in real life situations. There is reason to believe that there was a real person in the world like the main charector Troy Maxson. Someone who was aggressive, mean and selfish; someone who didthings because he had to and not because he wanted to as a man, or a father. Troy did things that made him happy even if the results was to hurt his wife rose, or his two sons troy and lyons. Perfect example of his selfishness is troy's daughter raynell. Raynell is the daughter of another women named Alberta. Troy had an affair with Alberta and ignored the advise of his closes friend Bono, (quote). All of the charectors are real-life based charectors. Cory, is a young confused child who wants to make a way of his own, but cannot seem to get away from the rath of his father; yet as he grows he learns how to stand up to his father and demand his respect. Bono, is the true friend that'll look out for you in your best instrest. FOr example, on (page 4) Bono states to troy, "I see you be around that gal Alberta's house.. YOu supposed to be at taylors.. Troy you ain't got no sense.." Lyons is the child that left home and made a life of his own and well aware of his fathers ways. An example of this is on (page 7) to troy: "you got your way of dealing with the and I got mine.." "you can't change me, pop. Im 34 years old, if you wanted to change me you've shouldve been there when i was younger" and when he returns the ten dollars that Troy lets him borrow, and Troy said he could keep it, he denayed and returned the cash. And lastly Rose, a sweet woman. The type of women of stays by her husbands side for the sake of her family.
