Backups

There are many different backup methods that provide many different levels of assurance in terms of labor and cost. Some of the different backups include full, incremental, and differential backups. They all backup in different ways and based upon your preferences and needs you should choose the best that is suitable for you.
Full backups are, in my opinion, the best kind of backups. Full backups are exactly what there names say, full backups. When running a full backup the system will store all files and folders. Though they store the most they are also running the actual backup is slowest of the three. Also they will most likely be the most expensive to run since more storage space is required.
Incremental backups will backup only the files that have been changed since the last backup of any type was made. Incremental backups are the quickest in terms of backup since it only copies so many files. The storage system required for incremental is also the least. But the downfall to incremental backups is the restore time for them is the slowest.
Differential backups are similar to incremental backups where they only backup certain files. They backup all the files that have been changed since the last full backup.
In my personal opinion, I would run a full backup. Though they cost the most and take the most time to run, I would feel more assured knowing that everything on my machine was restored, and nothing was lost.
