Self Analysis Essay
It is important to have a relationship with any subject matter you’re reading or writing. When you write something you need to be aware of how much of yourself comes through in what you’re writing. In this essay I will show you where I get my information from, what influences how I process that information, and how it might affect my writing.
Both of my parents are college educated. I graduated from high school in 2007, and then attended a car painting school. In high school I kept a good grade point average and tried to absorb as much education possible. I feel I learned a lot in high school because I took a variety of courses. In car painting school I learned how to view things in a different way. You have to assess the car before you start any work, and you have to look at things from an estimators, body mans, and painters stand point. Car painting school was more technical work and thinking, not so much a classroom environment.
When I was little I took information from my parents, or my teachers. Now I get my information from several sources. I watch the news and read the newspaper occasionally, watch TV, and read magazines. I tend to watch CNN more than the local news. I think it’s important to know at least a little of what is happening in the world. It’s not a good idea to live life oblivious to what is happening around the world and in your own area. People read magazines more than the newspaper these days. Some magazines exaggerate their information and entice you to buy their product. You can’t always trust what you’re reading, so it’s important to be aware of where the information is coming from.
My personality most definitely affects how I think about things. Some people show concern for certain things that I don’t have interest in. I tend to worry about personal issues or things that affect my day to day life, or the day to day life of those around me. If I’m indecisive about something I might...
