At first, I want to emphasize, at least the Filipino should come in the prison, because the Filipino really to kill a person, he need to get a punishment. I believe at the beginning the Filipino didn’t want to kill the Drunkard, but after the many times the Drunkard bothering, when the drunkard followed the Filipino to the restroom, at that moment the Filipino couldn’t control himself, and he planed to kill the drunkard. I will give many evidences to prove my opinion.
First, let us see how the Drunkard bothered Filipino. From the first paragraph we know (line1~line10), at the beginning the Drunkard didn’t do nothing, and just wanted the Filipino to go away himself and the white people crowed, and the Filipino was very frightened. Here, the Filipino didn’t want to kill the Drunkard. His response as same as the normal person, he was frightened and wanted to go away this Drunkard. The next part (line11~line25), the drunkard began to swear something to the Filipino. I think every drunkard must do these same things, such as swearing something. At that time the drunkard’s action have attract other people attention and the Filipino also want to avoid the drunkard. He ran to a corner, sat down for a moment, then got up and began looking for a more hidden place (line 28). This is a good evidences to prove the Filipino actually want to avoid the drunkard, this part many people saw the drunkard bothered the Filipino, and they didn’t stop the drunkard, because they thought the drunkard’s action is normal, every drunkard has the same situation. In the lavatory, the situation changed, the drunkards also bothered and followed the Filipino to the lavatory, but in the lavatory, the Filipino began to defend, and he didn’t avoid, even though he used the knife to threat the drunkard. There are two doubtful points. The first is the knife. We know the knife is a very dangerous weapon, if the Filipino just wants to stop the Drunkard bothering, why he used this so dangerous...
