After high school most everyone’s ambitions are to pursue a higher degree of education. I share these ambitions. I want to become a more successful person. I will not be satisfied with making minimum wage. I want to get a degree and become a stronger-minded person. I know I have the will and ambition to go further with my education and get my degree. A lot of the energy that drives me to want to further my education is the people around me. Some of the people make me want to so I do not end up like them and other make me want to so I can be better for them. My dad is an example of my first reason. He has a good job, but sometime money does become a object of interest and we have to be careful. I know things like this happen, but I do not want them to be a reoccurring thing for me. I want to make enough money to be ok and I believe getting a college education will help me do so. My second reason for going to school which is for someone else may be my biggest reason. I want to provide the best possible lifestyle and I know that getting a good education and a good job will make that a good possibility.
My purpose in being a college student is to increase the amount of knowledge I have in my area of study. I want to be in full control of my ability to execute my area of expertise. One can go out and gain field experience, but that by itself would not be good enough for he/she to know completely the subject. Going out and gain field experience is a very important part of your learning, but only if it has meaning and purpose. Attending college is an outstanding way to retain more information on your subject and then put that knowledge to good use. I want to be in full control of my abilities that I need to perform my job well. This will able me to use my abilities to their fullest and be able to make the most income. Making the most money possible is not the most important thing to me, but realistically it is a very big part of why I am pursing this better...
