Senator Barak Obama’s speech in Berlin

Analyze Obama’s presentation of the” citizen of the world”. Explain this idea and how it is communicated in the speech.

For Example- indeed, every language is spoken in our country: every culture has left is imprint on ours.

Obama’s presentation of the citizen of the world touches on how we as people are globally united, even though we belong to other nations. Although, we have different passports and social responsibilities as citizens of separate countries, we are as people are very much connected. Through Obama’s speech, he expresses how America has become more diverse and multicultural. He expresses that our countries have gone through many struggles, challenges, but by putting our strengths together it be easier to overcome such challenges. The main idea that he is trying to articulate is that we are the citizen of the world, and understand it is not our own duties to our countries.
We as people should be empowered to stand together to fight the many challenges of the new world. Rather then fighting the battle separately, our power will grow to new heights, which will strengthen and reshape the way of the future.

How does Obama’s speech attempt to de-politicize its highly politically agenda? What strategies are used to achieve this goal?
