The article that I have Chosen is the way of seeing. Our eyes are one of the most important organs when it comes to analyze a visual. I strongly believe that vision in our eyes is very critical to human being. In order to see, we need our eyes. When it comes to immediate reaction, seeing comes before when someone speaks. It is how our body senses for such reaction. Our first sense comes to seeing is our sight/ vision, by using our eyes. John Peter Berger has explained in his book of ‘ways of seeing’ is about the organized collection of ideas in visual arts. Many of us got different interpretation when we see visuals.
John Peter Berger is an art critic, novelist, painter and an author. He wrote an introductory art criticism book call ‘Way of seeing’. The book was greatly supported by BBC series of the same name, and is often used as a college text till today. He also described in his book about art history that is relevant visuals as he evidences as he critics the work on how he sees the visuals. He articulates a set of concerns with images, both photographic and painted or drawn, and with their relation to text.
The way we see things is affected by what we strongly believe or what we already know what the visuals is about. When we see things, it sends to the mind and process to tell us what are the visuals. There is this term called ‘mind’s eye’ as it refers as the ability that we are able to have four abilities. The four abilities are visual perception, imagination, visualization and memory. Therefore we need all this abilities so that we are able to use them when we ‘see’ things with our mind. The visual send to the mind and we are able to tell what it is or what we see.
Eyes are the organs of vision that detects light. The normal eyes of the human do nothing but detects whether the surrounding is light or dark. Whereas a more complex eye can different shade between shapes and colors. For humans, the visual fields...
