Master Organization?
Organization is a skill that everyone should master. We all know it! It is the one thing that would make most things better. Think about it. From the time we wake up until the time that we go to sleep, we are doing things which could be done more efficiently if we organized them. If we follow patterns we can accomplish our tasks more effectively and more efficiently. If we organize our daily activities, we won’t have to organize them again. We may have to make amendments to them, and we may have to reorganize if our first attempt is not successful. I think we can all agree that our lives and activities could benefit from being organized.
How would you like to have to set your alarm every day? Most of us would admit that would be nerve wracking. I hate resetting mine when the electricity fails, or if I accidently unplug it. When we are unorganized, we use unnecessary time planning the every day events of our lives – everyday. I get up every morning and do basically the same things before I set off to work. I have never organized my before work activities. I have been performing the same activities every morning for decades. Since I am not organized, I use extra time every day thinking about what to do first, second, etc. I am convinced that if I organize these activities and follow my list of organized activities, I would have extra time to organize something else. In essence, I am setting my “clock” every day.
We do develop some sort of organization naturally. Some of my before work activities are done in a pattern. I do mostly everything that I need to do in the bathroom when I am in the bathroom. However, I still need to sub organize those things to be more efficient.
Efficiency is the middle name of industrial workers. Employees in factories are trained to perform their duties in an organized manner. All workers on a line do their jobs in near unison. Little time is spent thinking about...
