As we grow up having our ideal life ,set in our minds; we know what we would like to become and what we want to do when we grow up. Our dreams begin very simple and as time goes on, they converge and grow complex. Everyone strives to achieve his or her dream. We mature and recognize that things are not that easy. For I believe that success is a choice not a chance, and we are the ones who chose whether to seek and fulfill them or we let them sit in the sun and dry until they can no longer be used. As for my dreams, I dream of having a successful career and a happy family life.

I am a very ambitious and career driven individual. And when it comes to achieving my goal consider me a goal getter. Although I must admit im not always so serious, just ask anyone who knows me. They would most likely describe me as being dramatic and comical. I love to joke around and I especially like to reenact people’s characteristics. One of my most loved pastime, would be to dance. I love to move to music and the way it makes me feel is amazing. I feel that it is one of my many talents that im actually really good at. At times I’m quite the party animal, in the sense that I love to go to nightclubs and dance the night away. I feel that I have become extremely skilled at balancing my school and social life. As a young adult you soon learn the importance of prioritizing the many different aspects of your life.

On another note, one fact I find to be interesting about myself, would be the meaning of my name. The name Vanessa comes from a Greek origin; that is known to mean butterfly.

At the age of sixteen is when I realized how much my name relates to me as a person, it is a word projection of your being. When you think of butterflies the words: beautiful, free, easy spirited come to mind. I believe that in many cases one’s name tremendously reflects on their personality.
