I have been practicing an Just a Sportand playing sports my whole, and I found out through my experiences of practicing sports that it is much more than the act of pushing your body through exhaustion or using your skills to reach your goal or just overcoming an obstacle in the sport you participate in. Through my personal experiences I know that there are many effects that show after you get involved in a sport, physical, human, and social. The main focus of this paper is to discuss those effects to my knowledge of practicing a sport.
The first effect of practicing a sport is that you have to develop a physical ability to carry out the necessary objectives in that sport. For developing great physical ability, your body will be in better shape, and you’ll be able to achieve things that physically you couldn’t accomplish before. My dad was a collegiate athlete in track, and through is experiences told me that the better my physical ability were it would improve my overall performance. For instance your speed, muscular mass, stamina, lung capacity, will all increase. By exercising on a regular basis your body will be healthier, which means fewer diseases and fewer injuries. People with a healthy life tend to live longer and happier.
The second effect has to do with how practicing sports become part of your personal life. I know this for a fact that sports will get very deep into your life. Practicing a sport requires some time, so you will be entertained for a while everyday instead of watching television or being able to play video games with your friends, or even going out to have a good time with friends. By practicing a sport you’ll get the chance to travel to new places where the event is being held. And that’s not all because once you enter a better level of competition; you may compete in championships or even national meets, and when you’re not doing it professionally you can make a profit out of it!
