When looking at courses I wanted to choose, at university, I had no doubt in my mind that I would be best suited in a film and television based course, I believe that a course such as this is best suited to a person like me who is very passionate cinematography and is interested past what is seen on screen. Along side my interest in films I found myself drawing a massive interest in the media, so by becoming a media student this has really quenched my thirst to really get involved in the depths of media and really get a thorough understanding of the media and Cinematography. So I feel by studying this at degree level I can really further this thirst I have for media expand upon it with prospects in a career for the one thing I feel so passionately about.

I have always found myself interested in more than just the final product of any film or poster based media text, as I have been working for a photography company doing nightlife photography in clubs and bars, so for me, this, at the moment really is a taster as to what I would like to achieve with my life in any media based organisation. I also feel that working for tilllate.com as a photographer really has given me a massive boost in confidence and also gave me key skills in interacting with people and after my work is published on a multinational site, I find it really gives you a sense of pride and achievement, so again I feel a full time career in the film/television industry really will give me a massive sense of achievement and accomplishment. I have also found doing courses in media and English at both GCSE and A level, has given me the ability to study and analyse both literary and media texts. When on these courses I have constructed several film trailers and film which I feel really gave me this thirst for a career in the media industry.
