Milton Hershey and Forrest S.Mars are some of the people who found their fortune by just selling candy. They did not just sell one or two candies but millions of them and both of them had their own labels which are Hershey and Mars. As the saying goes all roads lead to Rome both of them traveled on different paths to achieve their success. Their success stories have inspired many and will continue to inspire others in years to come. By looking into their success stories we can find many similarities and differences between them.
When we talk about similarities between their success stories we can see that both of them have a tragic childhood. Both of their parents have troubled relationship with their spouses. Secondly both of them found huge success in the candy business. Although Milton Hershey had few dead ends in his search for the candy which can make him millions but in the end he ended up being successful with his caramel candy and Hershey bar while Forrest S.Mars claimed the ladder of success   with the help of his Milky Way nougat candy bar. Finally both of these men were married and continue to live in prosperity until the end of their days.
Although both men shared many similarities but both of them differ in many ways. For instance both of their birth places are different. Hershey was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania while Mars was raised in Canada by his mother’s parents. Moreover, Hershey lost his father when he is still young but Mars was working with his father to produce the Milky Way. Furthermore, more difference can be seen by looking into the way both of them reached success. Hershey worked hard all by himself and did not had anybodies help when he was trying to come up with the formula for his candies but on the other hand Mars had his father’s help for making his candies.
