Chapter 1 Scarlett as a girl
1.1 The obiedent girl
Scarlett O’Hara, borns of a gently bred mother from the feudal aristocracy of the Georgia coast and an Irish peasent father, inherits charm from the one, and from the other determination and drive. As the belle of the country, spoileads, selfish, Scarlett arrives at young womanhood just in time to see the Civil War sweeps away the life for which her upbringing has prepared her. As a girl she lesds a happy life.

Her mother Ellen loves her and gives her a very convient circomustance to grow her own personality, it is very wise of her mother to do so if she can know what will happen in the future.they leads her to the right way and then gives her enough freedom.She tried her best to show her good gesture before her mother, she herniated both her father and her mother’s character and develops her own .
1.2. The self-centers and credible friends
Scarlett is a lady of individualism, she never cares what comments others make on her, she only pays attention to herself. And she acts ostentatiously. She is unsuccessful in every female role and in her relations with other women. Even her sister Suellen hates her because she seizes her fiancé Frunsk.

Maybe Melanie is her only woman friend besides her mother Ellen and her common Mummy. However, she does not realize it until Melanie passes away. Scarlett’s whole life centers around her own wants, and what she wanted foremost is attention and adulation in a setting of comfort and security.
