They're about eating pizza, drinking beer, having great hair - and enjoying it all..She's got a mouth on her. She says what she means. Growing up it felt like I had the whole world in the palm of my hand. Living twenty minutes from the beach and a forty five minute train ride into the city, I never thought life could get much better. I moved around in NJ a couple of times, and loved every place I lived. Even though the towns were always so different, it always felt like home. I always felt like I belonged, no matter where I went.
When it came time to decide on what Universities I would apply to and eventually to attend, I was surprisingly heart-set on getting out of NJ. Even though I love it and it is my home I wanted to experience something totally different that I knew I would never get the chance to do back home. I wanted to travel far, and I wanted to attend to a big University with great athletics. West Virginia University was the first school I received my acceptance letter to. Thrilled, wasn’t even the word to describe how I truly felt. Even though I was counting on my acceptance to Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, it felt good to have that acceptance, just like I had grown up feeling in NJ. When I stepped onto West Virginia’s Campus I knew it was the right fit. I had no doubt in my mind that this is where I was going to spend my next four years.
