A Morning At Mcdonald'S

Well, it’s ten o’clock in the morning and I’m already two minutes late for my first class. I’m walking down the plaza and the wind is blowing so hard outside that I can hardly make one step after the other but I finally make it there. As I walk into the classroom I start to wonder what I made on the quiz that we took on Monday. I looked at my paper and saw the mistakes that I made and waited for further instructions. The teacher announced that if you see the mistakes that you made and you know how to correct them then you could leave and return on Friday. As I packed my things to leave I talked to my friends. I explained to them that I was very hungry and need to eat some food. They agreed with me. Then we started to decide on where we should go to eat before our next class. The decision was finally made that we would go to McDonald’s.
As we got into my friends white KIA and we drove off campus and turned on lynch street. We finally made it to McDonalds and parked in the front then we got out of the car to enter and order our food. My friends and I waited in line for our turn. While waiting we noticed a bus of small children and six adult pull up in the parking lot as well. Two minutes later the adults were outside putting the children in line before they entered. After they got the children settled in and seated the lady came to the counter in front of me and said that they were the group who had called in advance and they had a check to pay for the food. All I thought was, “Lord please let us make it back in time for class.” The manager came out and spoke with the adults to place their order. The order consisted of two Big N’ Tasty combos, three Big Mac combos, one Grilled Chicken sandwich combo, and twenty-seven Hamburger Happy Meals with apple juice for the children.
