In the US constitution article 5 reading I learned that in this section of the constitution, it describes the process that needs to take place in so that the Constitution may be altered. These amendments and alterations may be proposed by the United States Congress or by a national convention assembled at the request of the legislatures of at least two-thirds of the several states. To become certified, amendments must then be ratified by either the legislatures of or ratifying conventions held in three-fourths of the several states. This is done to ensure that it is the will of the people. This is why we do not see people tampering with the constitution often.
In Article 6 of the US consitution, we learn about how the US constitution, US laws and treasties are soley to be the law of the land. We also learn about remaning debts that the United States had prior to the US Consititution and how they will remain as debts. We learn that there were to be no religious tests given to people who held public office. Supremacy is a clause which states that the states must follow this supreme court and its decisions.
The final article, article 7 of the consitution was about the ratification process each state needed to do to avoid the development of two countries. Each state had to ratify and accept the constitution by certain dates. Many considered this article a risky and dangerous one. Deleware was the first state to ratify. Followed by Pennsylvania and then by New Jersey.
