In my personal opinion I am against abortion in all aspects but one. Do you believe that murder is alright? If not then you do not believe in abortion either. A babies heart forms and starts beating in the fifth week of pregnancy, therefore, that makes abortion murder of a child that is less than 5 weeks old. The baby growing inside of you is depending on you, and only you, to bring them into this world. When you make the choice to end that life, you are making the choice to murder another person, who at this point has absolutely no choice in the matter. It’s your responsibility to protect their life.
Someone that believes in the pro-choice theory would say that the decision is up to the woman, but the person with the pro-life theory would say that it is murder no matter what the situation. If it is impossible to abort a baby in the ninth month, then what makes it ok to do in the fifth or sixth month. This to me just does not make any sense. By waiting only a few months longer abortion all the sudden becomes alright with the public.
The only reason that someone should have the option to have an abortion is if the child was conceived during a rape that a valid and legal report was made to the police. I understand that in today age rape, in one form or another, is common. The police need to find a way to stop this but that’s a different article. I believe that if a women is raped, meaning had sex with someone who forced them, by physical force, or mental, and this women has went to the police department to file a report after the rape, then when the women finds out she has became pregnant 4 weeks later she should have the option of abortion. Carrying a child is a long and painful process and the women should not have to suffer for crimes that were committed against her. In my personal opinion this should be the only time that it alright for a women to have an abortion. I would even go a step further to say that if a women is raped, and she reports...
