We are living in a globalized fast-developing community. Many advances of the technological world, such as airplanes and telephones have been invented in order to improve the quality of people's life, which has resulted in altering the way of communication and interacting with each other. In my opinion, the innovation of today's world that has affected us in a variety of ways is the computer, and respectively the Internet. Nowadays, hardly anybody can imagine life without that invention, since it has changed our way of life and has become absolutely important not only for ordinary families, but also for big companies and organizations of the countries. Today, communication has become much easier after the invention of computer. There are several reasons which support my point of view.

First of all, interaction with people can now be made on international level without even leaving the room. A lot of ways of connecting with other computers and people are possible, such as sending e-mails, voice mails or using any of the programs for instant messages. Hardy do people anymore put pencil on paper and send letters in envelopes to their friends, since e-mails or voice mails are immediately sent and communication is faster. Furthermore, by using a program for instant messaging, you can receive the reply just after a few seconds. That is better than using phones, because it doesn't cost you anything more than the Internet tax you pay every month.

Another way in which computers have affected our communication is the language we use. English has become an international language and knowing the basics of it is essential. Also, most of the times people type using the Latin alphabet, and not the Cyrillic, for example.

Last but not least, you can see people living thousands of kilometers away from you, just by using a web cam and you can hear each other’s voices by talking in a microphone. That is a great opportunity if you are...
