Since I am very interested in Forensic Science and crime scene investigating, I have chosen to apply to the highest forensic science course available; which will hopefully enable me to become a Crime Scene Investigator.
I am currently studying an Access science course at Castle College in Nottingham, which touches on the basic knowledge and skills in Forensic Science including Criminology, Law, and the basic 3 sciences.
In chemistry and Biology I particularly show an interest as they are my favorite subjects.
A forensic Science degree would improve on my basic knowledge I already have and would fulfill the high level of interest and enthusiasm I have had for Forensic Science and Crime Scene Investigating for many years. I hope to develop a more complex and advanced level of understanding of Forensic Science, Criminology and psychology to help me become a CSI Detective in 6-7 years time.
I am currently working on a part time basis as a sales-assistant at Sports Direct; a huge chain of sports shops in Nottingham city centre. I enjoy my job as I thrive on pleasing people and making people smile.
I am interested in Forensic Science because it is always developing technically and the situations it is applied to are continually renewed. It is the mixture of practical and analytical work which I enjoy because it can be applied in real-life. It takes various Sciences and utilizes the parts that I am interested in to create a discipline which I would love to be a part of.
I have worked at a number of jobs during school and college. I am currently working at sports direct as a shoe sales assistant. I was also an Apprentice Joiner for 4 years since I was 16 and I then went on to become a fully qualified Joiner and had the opportunity to work on a self-Employed basis for 7 months.
