Goal Statement

June, 23, 2001! That was the day when I first saw The United States, with 18 years old and coming from Cuba, a country where the government manage your life and you cannot follow your dreams my first thought was "This is America, the real democracy and the land of opportunity, now I am going to dream and start building my future".

After a while of self-observation I began seeing how rich's idea applied into my life I saw my self in the revealing lens of a young businessman who was hungry for success .At the beginning life wasn't easy, and I had my share of ups and downs. Despite these dubious moments, my dream of becoming a businessman has never deferred. Everyday, I dreamed of attending to a good University. Following my dreams and goals I enrolled in Miami Dade College. My desire to make my parents proud and my ultimate dreams of becoming a Businessman were all part of the reasons I wanted to attend and graduate at MDC. After two years in the Business Administration program, having taken many Business courses with satisfactory grades and taking into consideration my foundation and my interests, I said to myself "I am ready to go to the next level.

As a result of my intentions I asked for an advice to a friend of mine, Mr.Tien Wong who is a well known businessman in the state of Maryland and his first words were “you need to have a good education from a respected university “After that, I started researching about the Walden University and I found that it was a respected visual institution according to U.S News and World Report and one of the best online universities of United States. At this point in my life, I consider Walden University to be necessary since I need to gain a very good education in order to be successful in the business world.
